Sure, the MacBookPro looks cool.
I am not a fan of either Apple or Microsoft, but at least Apple creates things with great looks and which are simple to use.
Make no mistake, since the MacBookPro runs on Intel processors the software needs to be able to run on that platform too. At the moment not much software is supported. For this Apple created an emulator in OSX, Rosetta, but this seriously slows down it’s performance. Some are comparing the performance under Rosetta to G3′s!
So for the moment my old orange iMac will still be the only Mac here in my studio. A Mac I haven’t used for years because it’s a super slow machine and has a very noisy fan :(
