I forgot to mention how using Gurdonarks music as a soundtrack to a video that originally was a freak fantasy lipsynch on Twe Sweetest Condintion changes the entire setting and effect of the thing. I do wonder if it still makes sense. An experiment I hope you, Gurdonark do’nt mind your music being part of.

Although I am an advocate for the abolishment of copyright laws I do see your fair use point. Liberal and voluntary are key words.
Btw, 2 monoths ago YouTube told me I couldn’t use Depeche Mode’s ‘The Sweetest Condition’ in a video. So I replaced it with one of yours : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_Q6A2dCjm0

P.s.
Marco you write “Ik maak foto’s, schrijf teksten, maak video’s en componeer muziek en geluid”. Is that in that specific order in relation to the amount of creativity used?

I do not think that one has to abolish patent or copyright to achieve a good system. I think that patent and copyright have their purpose. But I do think that permissible “fair use” should be expanded, and that liberal voluntary licensing of material should be encouraged–not only a Creative Commons for music and literature, but also for scientific research (as in Science Commons) and other useful endeavors.
