Great interview.
Not fewer stars though Marco..hopefully no stars. How good would it be to kill the cult of celebrity? One thing I hoped the internet would lead to..and it still might.
The woman kept saying “magician” instead of “musician”. I know what she meant, I am used to hearing that “pronunciation” in Denmark for example..and always liked it..because in some cases it’s literally true, no?

@john: I agree. Celebrity status is nothing I ever wanted.
“pronunciation” … she sounded very non-Dutch to me. Now you know why I decided to blog in Dutch, right? :))
Magicians we are John! It’s all magic with the timing and the notes. White fahnky doves cry.

AS you know, I have a hard enough time with “english”..was she Dutch but maybe learned English in Copenhagen ;)
Music = universal language.

@john: you’re the slang man, me too, typical The Hague stuff (Nachburgermeester woordjes).
Yeah, music is universal language except for those celebrities with their auto-tune songs.

When a song is not “heard” regardless of the language, usually het zuigt.
I wonder if that translated ;)
23/01/2010 @ 7:23 pm
@john: perfect, typisch Dutch :)
(btw you’re a few days late http://johnpazdan.com ? – love those refrigerator magnets! they ‘zuigen’ too)
